    • Sitting at about 4012 for those things–will purchase these things then save the 7,000 for things for later after the book blast
      • Tiffany moves to approve purchase, Trent seconds, unanimous approval
  • Art discussion
    • SCC would need to fund 16,000-17,000 to fund the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Art program for next year, the district is no longer funding
      • This is about the funds for a 5 hour instructional assistant
    • Thoughts are: it would be more helpful as a school to have an instructional assistant over an art teacher.
      • Students still do art in class. Art in BTS art is typically structured and less fun, whereas art in class is mostly fun
  • SIP
    • State achievement: 67% of Wilson students reading on grade level
      • State is at 49% District is 55%
    • English Learner performance is higher than district and state as well
    • RISE
      • Wilson is higher than district and state in Science, ELA, and Math
      • Wilson is higher than district and state in growth for all areas as well
    • What is/are the greatest academic needs?
      • Science for sure-maybe losing Art prep will help give STEM prep more time to work with standards and science concepts
      • Keeping the momentum going for math and ELA
      • ELL, would help support the bottom 25% at our school as well
      • Continue looking at acadience as a measure across K-5, keep some sort of EL goal
  • 100 year anniversary ideas:
    • Historical pictures/signage to show process across the school
      • Maybe on hallway going to lunch
    • 100 year fun run, or tack on 100 year onto some other existing activity
      • Maybe some big celebration in the fall to invite community and alumni to
      • Keep the celebrations going all year
    • Some sort of pool/community party?-Trent really wants bbq and fireworks

Motion to adjourn by Ryan, second by trent, approved unanimously
