      1. Motion to approve: Jenny, seconded by Tiffany
  3. Review of by-laws and SCC election plan
    1. Principal Markworth & All
      1. Elections: held in May
      2. Maximum of 8, if 3 or fewer, all parents serve
      3. Elections May 1st to be ready for our next meeting on May 9th so new members can attend as well
        1. Chair, Vice-Chair, recorder
      4. Make it more well known that you should contact the chair with any topics that are wanting to be discussed
      5. Tiffany and Sarah, up for reelection: Michelle is retiring as her daughter is a 5th grader, Madison is on her first year
  4. Update on SIP goals for 23-24
    1. Principal Markworth (information provided by Lisa Teuscher, instructional coach)
      1. Increase percentage of students reading at and above benchmark by 10% from BOY to EOY on Acadience Reading
        1. Current data BOY to MOY: 66%-73% (up by 7%)
      2. Increase math academic content knowledge through the arts by 3% increase from BOY to EOY on Acadience Math
        1. Current data BOY to MOY: 38%-58% (up by 20%)
  5. Events and information the last months of school

    2. End-of-the year events and information
      1. Tiffany presents PTA activities!
        1. May 6-10: teacher appreciation week
        2. May 8: Bike to school day-raffle for helmets
        3. May 16th: Fun run in the afternoon
        4. May 17th: Fifth grade field trip to Jump zone
        5. May 20th: Field Day at Wilson
        6. May 21st: Senior wave in the morning, 5th grade graduation and 5th grade wave in the afternoon
        7. Up day: kids come meet all the next grade teachers
          1. Ex: all kindergarten students go to a place and meet ALL the 1st grade teachers
          2. Parent input form to be sent out to understand needs of the child (not “teacher request”)
      2. 3 Kinder, 3 1st, 3 2nd, 2 3rd, 2 4th, 3 5th (teachers for next year)
    3. Other informational items:
      1. CKLA adoption
        1. Core Knowledge Language Arts
      2. Recent Assemblies
        1. PBIS (RESPECT), LHS motivation assembly, Beat the Street
      3. ParentSquare
        1. Starts in May
        2. Introduction Video-sent in email after meeting
