Review of previous minutes, motion to approve Eric, second Ryan, approved

Review of SCC excess funding approvals from teachers-teachers are buying and fulfilling funds and are happy–thank you!!

Fiscal year 2026-2027: increase of $8,500–keep in mind with budgeting and SIP

School Improvement Plan (SIP)

Trust Land Expenditures: ($78,410)

  • Goal 1: reading ($60,000)
    • Increase the percentage of students that are above benchmark composite score by 12-15% from the BOY to the EOY as measured by Acadience reading
      • Action Plan steps
        • Aides ($55,000)
        • Software ($5,000) Renaissance Learning, Scootpad, Brainpop, Mystery Science, Flocabulary, ETC.
        • Progress monitor students who show decreases, test all students BOY MOY and EOY, data dives
        • Improve tier 1 instruction, systems to intervene with tier 2 and 3 (use of RTI/EL specialist) 
  • Goal 2: math ($2,710)
    • Increase math academic content knowledge by a 22% increase in students who show proficiency from BOY to EOY in Acadience math
      • Action Plan steps
        • Hiring instruction aides (same as literacy, no budget)
        • Acadience math test 3 times a year, review during data dive
        • Reinforce attendance ($710)
        • Guiding coalition meeting 1 day during summer to make plans to support staff and goals ($2,000)
  • Goal 3: EL ($15,700)
    • Increase 80% of our EL students will increase by at least 1 level measured on the WIDA test
      • Action Plan steps
        • Teachers provided days throughout the school year to collaborate, focus on effective lessons, curriculum maps, and EL student teaching practices ($5,000)
        • Attending professional development or PLC conferences ($3,700)
        • Dedicated EL aide for 5.5 hours ($7,000)
