Social Media
- Pta president is not allowed to post to parentsquare
- Make a sign to put outside with a qr code to share information with parents?
- Encourage on the survey for people to follow the social media
- Put a sign outside to let people know each night that there’s a PTA meeting
Room Parent Meeting
- The purpose is to reduce stress - some older teachers may not want a room parent
- It will be part of the survey
Twisted Sugar Spirit Night/McTeacher Night (Oct. 21 & Spring)
- Shana Longhurst - reach out to the entire district
  - Sign outside to let ppl know or little flyers (We can use the school printer)
- The funds from these fundraisers go to the PTA
Positions
- Brittney Naylor is interested in being a part of the board
How to support Jennilyn
- Wellness Wednesdays - assign one person to help per month
Board Meeting October 13th (during 100th anniversary)
Red Ribbon Week - make a difference be a hero stay drug free
- Themed days
  - Monday - wear red (red out)
  - Tuesday - crazy hair/hat
  - Wednesday - Hero day (fireman, policeman, or like “your hero”)
  - Thursday - Wilson swag
  - Friday - Halloween
- The week before - Red hand print on a sign that says stay drug free
- Noelle & Lindsey help?
- Assembly - kids from student council dress - up as each day
Fun Run
- Lindsey & Tristin
- Give healthy snacks
- Blasting music
Award ideas
- Tattoo the teacher (use stickers)
  - Themed wilson ones
  - Outline the teacher
Valentines
- Donuts with grownups first thing in the morning
  - Invite policemen, firemen, board members, detective johnson to sit with kids who don’t have a parent
Winter Festival - 3 stations
- Put it on a half day?
- Snowball fight
- Cottonball on a spoon
- Snowflakes
- Freeze dance
